Mav's big day!

This sweet little man had a very Big birthday!

I am in mom denial about it, but he is THRILLED to be a big 5 year old. He got to have his first friend party. Hooray for August birthdays so you can have the party outside in the yard
He wanted to invite every person he has ever met. but we narrowed it to 10, and got 7 wonderful friends to come and play. Perfect!

Then, within the next hour after friends left Cousins arrived!

Mav was in heaven. Seriously he was so happy to have everyone over to play. He didn't even seem to care that it was all for him. He just wanted everyone there to be having a good time.

Uncle Jake stole my camera and captured this completely awesome moment shared with Big brother Ben. Real special fellas....

And cute Rhett got to hangout with his Great grandparents for a bit

so, 5 things I love about my Maverick Man:

5. He can sing every word to the "Utah Song", and does it with such pride

4. He is a wonderful helper. With his own bros. and other kids, and even asks what he can do to help me on a regular basis.

3. He doesn't let us miss a day of reading the Book of Mormon

2. He has an amazing enthusiasm for life that is contagious

1. He is so lovable. He has the sweetest smile and laugh, and sometimes you just HAVE to hug and kiss him!
