Honestly, January is not my favorite... Luckily my little bro and my mother-in-law have birthdays to celebrate, and the boys get to play in this beautiful white stuff sometimes. Beside those things, we spend most of our month cooped up inside trying to stay entertained, usually getting over sickness too. Fun! January was particularly long this year. Lots to think about. But sooooo much to be thankful for. 2012 has been crazy already. Here we go!
L-R: neighbor Ryan, Slater, Mav
Fridays have officially been declared "Friday Fort Day". The boys were wanting to make forts everyday, so now they have been band to only be made on Fridays. They TRULY love every second of it. L-R: Rhett, Slater
The lesson was on being "Fishers of men". They loved fishing and being able to put their missionary name tags on. Not gonna lie, the years of having all my little men on missions is going to come too soon... not sure I am going to be emotionally prepared for that.
In the buddies bathroom I have framed pictures of them playing in the bath. Here are a few of our most recent ones of Slater and Rhett. Mav has officially out grown this stage in his life. Sad.

And of coarse, all of the boys have been sick. Slater crashed out. Poor little guy! I hate it when they are sick.
January, You are cold and bleak. but honestly quite lovely when the ground is covered with beautiful snow. Thanks for coming, but truly I am not sad that part of my 2012 is now over.
*remember: we also found our about Uncle Derek's cancer diagnosis in January. Rhett Finally learned to walk. Brian played lots of soccer. Uncle Jake found out he made the Nauvoo performing mission. Celebrated 100 years of seminary at the conference center. Grandma Jan remodeled her kitchen. Slater has talked a lot about potty training...

What a beautiful family you have! It has been funny to see you at the gym a few times. Do you go everyday? Mike just got a job in Salt lake so I will be going earlier between 6 and 7. We should work out together sometime :) Hope you are doing well!
