Christmas Madness... I mean... FUN!

Nothing can compare to Christmas time: the music, the sights, the smells, the laughter, the magic, the joy, peace, presents, time with family, and most importantly remembering Christ's birth... This year was no different. Simply wonderful.

Rhett thought Santa was really awesome... He was scared to hysteric tears

Mav and Slater were pros.

Bri took the boys to the NBA preseason scrimage. It was in December this year cause the NBA has been so lame. But they had fun none-the-less.

Mav with some classmates before their adorable Christmas program

He is such a fun to watch little singer!

We met up with cousins for pizza at uncle Eddie's work

Then waited for the train to take us to see the Christmas lights

L-R: Mav, Charlie, Tressa

And the babes

L-R: Henry, Rhett, Slater

It was a REALLY crowded night at the lights, and we all got seperated, but we did manage to get this picture of all of us in one spot.

Christmas Eve:

L-R: Britt, Rhett, and Jake.

Lots of people think Rhett looks like Jake. Put a rockin' red beard on Rhett and I just might really see it...

Slater playing "pin the nose on the snowman"

Mom had us "originals" (minus Regina) play our traditional Jingle Bells on the pop bottles. Good times!

L-R: Jake, Britt, Ben, Mom, Tara, and Chris

Kiddos reenacted the nativity story.

Alexa was Mary this year, and Mav was Joseph. Cabbage Patch kid was Jesus

Slater was such a cute Wiseman!

Here are all the Grandkids in their new jammies from Gram

Back at home, we rolled out some cookies for Santa, read "the night before Christmas", wrote letters to Santa, decorated the cookies, then headed off to bed

But we had to sample first, of coarse.

Christmas Day:

After checking out our gifts from Santa we had to hurry and get ready for 9 o'clock church Luckily Santa brought Mav new church clothes. He wanted a picture with dad

After a wonderful church meeting we returned home to finish our Christmas. Rhett was quick to find Santa's leftovers and went to town. He was SOOOOO happy about it. He ate them all I am pretty sure.

We all put our cozy jammies back on, and dug into opening presents. Mav got this awesome "glow car" from Gram and Grandpa

Slater is saying "weeee" as he hopped on his new scooter. He was so thrilled! And is REALLY very good at riding it.

After enjoying our own little Christmas at home, we headed east to Grandma and Grandpas house. Where we were overly spoiled and the kids enjoyed seeing their cousins and talking about all their new treasures.

We did manage to get a picture of almost all the grand kids in honor of the reason for the season. Mav got to be Joseph again, Slater an adorable shepard and Rhett a... black sheep.

We had a wonderful Christmas Day and Christmas season!

Love it!
