December arrived with some force this year... We woke up during the night to some loud wind, by about 8:00am we could hear our shingles being ripped off our roof. Totally awesome. It was so intense that Brian was unable to drive to work, because so many cars were tipped over on the freeway. 100 MPH winds were reported. The news folks said it was like a hurricane with out all the rain. It was CRAZY. Stuff was flying around everywhere, and yet kids were still walking home from school. Seriously, what were they thinking?!? Brian went out at one point to survey the damage when things had "settled down" a bit, and still got hit in the head by flying debris. Awesome....

Brian is on the roof of our neighbors houseThe most awesome part of the whole mess was watching the service that went on. large and small groups came out of the woodwork to help. And I literally didn't see my husband much for about 5 days, cause he was out helping. He is awesome!
Crazy wind storm. Our insurance has been fantastic. Thank goodness!
Let's not do that again for a while. K?!
