Summer Fun (Part II)

Here you have it... a random array of what we have been up to lately. And there is even more fun to come! We are going to Bear lake with Bri's side of the family, then we will celebrate our 5 year anniversary!!! WAHOO. Then we are WAY excited because we get to go to Washington DC just the 2 of us! Oh yeah, and Slater - Good times ;) So there is more summer fun and craziness headed our way.... Hope y'all are having fun too!

Mav relaxin' with my sisters dog, Bailee.
Slater at the lake. Isn't that the cutest little face!?!
Bri exercising his killer skills... OH YEAH!
We go out to Bri's grandparents house to take care of their yard once a week... Mav has become quite the helper. He loves doing what his Daddy is doing.
Slater showing off his stellar muscles. Can you believe it?!? He is 9 months old and weighs 21 lbs.! We LOVE every roll...
We got the chance to go to a ReAL soccer game with Bri's family. It was a really fun night!
this was taken just outside the stadium
And this was during half-time. At this point in the game ReAL was down by 2, but they came out fightin' for the 2nd half and ended up winning. It was a sweet game!
Mav and Slater sporting their ReAL pride temporary tattoos. Very inappropriately adorable!
Then it was off to "The greatest fun spot you'll ever know" -Cherry Hill for my families annual reunion. It was a blast! Here is Slater lovin' the swimming pool...
And Mav swimming with Grandpa and Gram
Mav got to go mini golfing with his Daddy. Yes, he is in PJ's, because that was the only other clothes I had at Cherry Hill besides his swimming suit, and he was beyond done wearing that, so pajamas it was...
The next morning we had a 6:00 AM tee-time. How I managed to get out of bed that early I will never know, but we all had a good time. We played in teams, and Bri, Ben and I actually won! Not that I had anything to do with that. But it was fun anyway!
Mom and Tara Jill got stuck with all the kids while we golfed. This is what we came home to... all eyes glued to a movie. Silly!
Then all the boys dug in and helped re-do part of dad and moms deck. It was a big project but it will be much nicer, and safer now. After the deck project we got all cleaned up and went to the temple open house. But I forgot my camera. Darn... All in all it was a great reunion. THANKS Tara and Eddie!
Below is a random picture of the boys playing with some friends. Mav and Christopher are just 3 days apart in age, and Savannah and Slater are 2 MONTHS apart. Slater is younger. Yes, my kids are big for their age ;)
We spent a Saturday evening up at Wolfe Mountain for an awesome outdoor concert. It was Jon Schmidt. Who is so amazingly talented! We loved it. It was ridiculously cold for August. I felt bad that I didn't have the boys winter coats. But they seemed to REALLY enjoy themselves anyway. This Pic was taken before the concert started
And this is where we sat in comparison to the stage... See Mav looking at me through the chair? It was a great night!
Then we took one more free trip to Lagoon. This time we went as a whole family. Slater loved the carousel!
Mav spent the evening with this look on his face...
Yes, sadly, Mav was afraid of EVERYTHING. not sure why... Sometimes I wonder why he is such a wimp. He is just really cautious sometimes, and we can't change his mind. He has to decide for himself... Oh well. He is only 3. Someday we will probably be trying to tell him to be careful... such is life.
We did finally force him onto the train. He liked it by the end. but when asked if he wanted to do it again? He quickly said "NO!"
Good Times!!! Like I said, there is more to come! Hooray for summer!!!
